I have been on losartan 25mg for 3 weeks. BP well controlled at 125/70. Getting dizziness and weakness in legs. Are these side effects going to gradually improve and how long will it take?

Hello, Paul! How are you? Has there been any change?

It usually takes about 4 to 5 weeks for such side effects to improve, as reported by the U.S. FDA. You may also experience nausea, headache and increased urination.

If they don't improve in that time frame, you should consult your doctor as you may need to try a different medication.

Is there anything else I can help with?
