I am taking URIMAX0.4 for last 3 years continuously.I find it very useful. But I am not getting answer to my question that how long one can take it. After how much time I will have to increase the dose? Will it create any serious problem due to prolonged use? I am of 62 years. I am suffering from BPH since 2002.

Recently my father was diagonised with severe UTI, stone in Urinary Bladder & prostate enlargement after high fever & urine retention. The stone was removed after 5 days of hospitalization, after removal of catheter & discharged from hospital, he goes to tiolet very frequently may be every 40 min. approx. My father was prescribed with Urimax .40. i wanted to know is it because of prostate, can this be treated with medicine or surgical intervention is required.

In USG i have been diagnosed of prostate of volume 25.1. I have the urge to urinate every 90 minutes are so. I have been advised to take ALFOO for 30 days.
As I am 46 years of age, whether prostate enlargement is abnormal or can it be due to any infection?
Is ALFOO is OK or any other drug will be better?

I am 64 yrs old male. I have prostate enlarged in size 2.87 X 4.05 x 4.47 cm, vol 27.20 cc. I am beeing advised cap. urimax's 400 mcg once daily at night. please tell me :
- Will it control urinary frequency only ?
- Will it help in empting the bladder with every passig or not ?
- will it reduce the prostate enlargement or will stop/ slow down further enlargement ?
- Any other relief it gives ?
- For how long it is to taken ?

Every drug has side effects.i thing u know it.urimax has postual hypotention,dizziness,syncope.that is c max related side affect take tamsin whish ads technology.its better for.and if u donot take dutasteride.its quitly safe.bt urimax is nt save properly.
