Hello, Becky! How are you?
It actually depends on how long you were taking it, how much you were taking each day and the way your body reacts to stopping, so there's no hard and fast rule to quote for you. It may take anywhere from a few days to over a month, or so.
The FDA lists the withdrawal effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, fever, chills, headache, diarrhea, rebound pain and depression.
How long was the person in question taking it and how much were they taking?
