I'm taking 200mcg daily and once in a while have trouble remembering to take it. My question is, how many days would you have to miss for it to be "reset" and have to wait that 6ish weeks for it to start taking effect again? I've missed 5 days in a row and am worried I screwed myself over and will have to wait a while to start seeing changes

If you haven't been taking it steady, then you're likely already at the point where you'll need to take it regularly for 4 to 6 weeks for it to reach its full level of efficacy.
The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, weight changes and hair loss.
Do you have a smart phone? If so, most of them have free prescription reminder apps that will nag you to take your medication each day.
