How Long Does It Take Lyrica To Leave Your System

I am going to a reunion on nov.11th.and i take 900mg.of neurontin and 225mg.of lyrica per day, for 3 months.if I want to drink 5-6 beers at reunion could I stop taking these drugs for 2 days and get it out of my system, so I can safely drink at my reunion

You can do that, if you wish, but you should consult with your doctor, first. Alcohol can also have a detrimental effect on some medical conditions, so you need to be certain it is safe for you to drink it.

Are you taking them for pain or some other condition?

In the case of these medications, you are warned against using alcohol, because it can aggravate the side effects, such as nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and CNS depression.

If your same PCP is giving you Neurontin and Lyrica then he needs his credentials looked over. You are under no circumstances supposed to take both of THOSE medicines simultaneously everyday or PERIOD for that matter. id be more concerned with taking both instead of drinking on the meds. And really once u know How alcohol affects u on those or any meds its pretty much under your discretion. neither one of those medicines prohibits drinking. it simply says "limit alcohol consumption until you know how so and so meds affect you while on alcohol
