He won't tell you? Only kind of pain patch I know of is fentynol! Sure he isn't slippin it to u? Please watch out! It just takes little if ur not tolerant & don't know how high his dose is!

I think saving one and having it on so you can physically show them you're wearing one if it comes back negative is a very smart move! That would defiantly prove without a doubt there's something going on with their test.

I took my fentanyl patch off on a Friday saw the doctor on Wednesday said I wasn't positive for an opiate sent it out even though I saw it was positive for an opiate and said no fentanyl traces were there that was on a Wednesday I've been on the patches for at least 6 years and they cut me off I just feel like I'm dying I don't know what to do they sent it out to the lab the urine which came back saying there was no fentanyl in it

Fentanyl is an opiod, made from pethidine, meperidine ( Demerol)! Purely synthetic! But it will show up as an opiate, a drug containing opium!

If you only wear the patch for 8 hours and its a 72 hour 3 day patch how long will it stay in your system if you weigh less then 180 pounds

**Fentanyl will show as Fentanyl IF sent to a lab**
IF you are Positive its a dip-stick then it will show as an opiate.

Go to another pharmacy/Dr/medical service & asked to be tested specifically for fentyl. Keep proof.

There are some synthetic and semi-synthetic opiates/opioids will show up 0n a drug test. Then there are some synthetic drugs will not show up unless you specifically test such as methadone. As far as fentanyl, I just got popped on a drug test from my doctor who has been prescribing methadone to me for 14 years. He got hurt and the jerk that replaced him lowered my dose until he came back, and I was in a ton of pain and someone gave me a urine test and I had taken a fentanyl patch from a girl who said they worked great. I took one and did not feel any "Buzz" but was not in pain.

Just so you n everyone knows if your being tested for any pain med ,and say u dont use it everyday but u need a positive test well you have to at least start taking the med 48-72hours before your test because some place do the stick test and then send it to the lab and if you only took the day before the lab will not find the metabolites or enough of for a positive !!!! That doesn't mean if ur perscribe d say 6 -80mg oxy's a day that you take all 6 each day say your only taking them to get them well u need them in your system for 48-72 hours before for test that would be 18 oxys n if ur not taking them except to pass the test well only take 2 max each day before the test cause if u take the 6 each day that you dont have a tolerance for then the test is the last thing you need to worry about not O.D.'ing n waking up is gonna be ur issue cause all opiates n opiods slow your breathing down ,so when someone O.D.'s in there sleep that means they stop breathing so BE CAREFUL!!

I take fentanyl monthly and just switched to OxyContin and oxycodone. I have 9 days to a possible test made the mistake and smoked nearly 13 days ago I don't smoke but happened to at a bachelor party and I took 3 patches 2 days ago so that gives me 11 on patches and 22 on pot. If I get tested am I screwed?

Its b/c when they test you but your fiery and they give you script anyway, they take ur uterine to lab then the nextmonth thru KNOW everything may have took whether its a false positive or not and then they drop u from their program normally

Jo I'm guessing when you say PM you're talking about pain management, if so then the answer is yes. You said you put it on and it helped, but didn't say if you had taken it off. If you've only used one, and took it off 3 days before then it won't be in you're system. Maybe you could tell then that you had previously been on the patches, and it helped when everything else wouldn't. Some doctors will view this as drug seeking behavior though and drop you entirely. Doctors generally try all oral meds before they resort to the Duragesic patches, so be patient.

my friend has been using fentanyl patches for about a month. Some are 100mcg also 75mcg and 50 mcg. she is 5'5 120 and has a fast metabolism. how long will it be detectable in her urine for a test at her pain doctor. she does not have a valid script for these. She takes oxycodone but needs to know when to stop taking the patches in order for them not to be in her system when she is tested. What would be a safe time frame to tell her to stop taking them so they wont be detected?
