How Long Does Cold Medicine (theraflu) Stay In Your System?

I'm currently nursing my 2 week old baby and woke up with a cold. I was wanting to take Theraflu and continue feeding my baby with breastmilk that I had stored. My question was how long does it remain in your system to know when I can continue breastfeeding?

That said, however, Thera Flu contains Acetaminophen, Chlorpheniramine and Pseudoephedrine.

Some formulations may contain Phenylephrine and Dextromethorphan and you did not specifically say which one you were talking about.

That said, however, it would be safest to wait at least 24 hours or so, before breast feeding, again, after taking this.
