How Long Does Hydromorphone Show In Blood Test

I have to do a blood test and need to have it in my blood. I have never taken the prescribed amount because of the addiction potential. Now I have a blood test and haven't taken it in 3 days even though my pain has been very severe. I don't really want to take it but need it in my blood. How long does it show in blood and what would show if I took a shot prior to my blood draw?

That's impossible to answer without an exact route of administration, dosage and health condition. Peak plasma rates vary as to the aforementioned.
