How Long Do Side Effects Last?
UpdatedI took one dose of Acticlate as indicated by my dermatologist. I experienced side effects of tummy rumbles, pain from the navel up, sinus headache, & general malaise; shoulders hurt, back hurts. I have not taken any further dose.
How long should these side effects last now that I have stopped taking the medication?

Hello, Dave! How are you?
This just contains the active ingredient Doxycycline, which is an antibiotic and its common side effects usually include nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
They shouldn't last more than a few days, if you only took one dose, but it would be best to have things checked out by your doctor. Are you on any other medications?
