How Long Do I Wait Going From Opiates To Zubsolv?

How long should I wait to go from opiates to Zubsolv? My doctor says wait till a decent withdraw idk what that means 24 hours? If anyone can shed light on this would help a bunch thank you! Also kinda scared because I took suboxone too quick one time and went into a forced withdraw... Please help thanks.

You have to be in full withdrawal, otherwise the Naloxone in the Zubsolv could throw you into precipitated withdrawals, which may be dangerous.

The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

I had opiates today at 1:30am and I've just been scared to take Zubsolv. Is 18 hrs enough time in between to take the Zubsolv? I should be able to take Zubsolv tomorrow around 7pm, is this correct? Thank you!

I have had alot of experience with taking suboxone to get off opiates and during my 1st year of bring addicted I was able to take a half of an 8mg suboxone the morning after using and I would feel fine, my last opiate dose would be about 9pm and I would take the half a suboxone tablet 8mg the next morning about 9am and I would be fine. I would get off work at 3pm and I would dose. I repeated this process on and off for about a year. Then one day I tried to do it and I became severely I'll, it threw me into withdrawal immediately, leg kicks, sweating, cold sweats, nausea, u name it..it was horrible so I took more suboxone like an hour later thinking that would help, it didn't seem to help the symptoms... after that day every time I tried to take suboxone even after waiting 24 to 30 hours it still did the same thing. I even went to 2 different DETOX centers so they could administer the medicine correctly and the same thing happened to me, immediately went into withdraw.. I truly believe that my opiate receptors were damaged and I was unable to take suboxone to relieve my symptoms because I had abused it for about a year. I think by doin this it damaged my receptors in my brain, cuz I attempted to take suboxone & subutex at least 10 times and same result of immediate withdraw, as I said earlier even after waiting 30 hours one tym..It wasnt until after I had 6 months clean off of opiates & I relapsed for about 3 weeks I had no choice but to try the suboxone again. so I waited exactly 24hours & took only a quarter of a 8mg suboxone tablet when I started to experience sweating and to my surprise it worked!!! I felt relief within 15 minutes, I fell asleep briefly and woke up feeling fine, later in the day when I started to feel symptoms again I took another quarter and i was able to kick a 10th a day habit with just taking quarters of an 8 mg.. after 3 days I had only taken a pill and half and was done with my sickness. Whatever u do, DO NOT MIX trazodone or sleep meds with it, it made my blood pressure so low and I almost blacked out so many times in the past. it also makes it hard to breathe and trazodone also makes it cause muscles spasm.
