How Long Can I Be On Belviq?

I have been on Belviq for 2 years. I lost all my weight about 75 Pounds. I have maintained for a year. My doctor has kept me on it. I went to a new Dr and they wont let me continue on the medicine. It really has helped me control my hunger. I have changed my lifestyle and eating habits but I have a HUGE appetite. Is it harmful to stay on it if you are t a normal weight and it helps you stay there? Also when I have stopped before I get so sick, like the worst case of the flu.

You can take it, as long as your doctor feels it is safe for you to take it. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, nervousness, insomnia, and anorexia.

How are you doing, now? Has there been any change?
