I need a pain management doc. I live n NJ near cherry hill. I have lupus n fibromalga, my rhumatogist is no longer here so I was getting oxicodone 30mg 4 times a day but the pain management clinic I'm seeing can only prescribe 15 my 3 times day. Which does nothing for my pain. Can sum one help me find a doc who accept medicade n prescribe the meds I've been taking for the last 5 yrs n nj. Oxcodone 30 mg.
Re: Mysty I (# 3)
Are you sure you're on Oxycodone. The formula given sounds like Norco....Oxy just says milligrams and you are indicating APAP by the 325.??
Re: Ariana (# 2)
Sweetheart, please know, OxyContin now has an impervious coating that makes me nauseated. Everything in your stomach makes it up your esophagus and ROTS your teeth from the 'inside out' !!! I am facing expensive implants bc of OXY !! If I could sue Purdue Pharma I would, but there's a little notice on the info that admits to tooth damage. If it does that to your teeth, IMAGINE what it does to your bones! Be aware...many have reported it.
I received a Rx for oxycodone 10/325 on April 6th to be taken every 6 hours. My Dr. instructed me to take them regardless if I was in pain or not to "Stay ahead of the pain" I am scheduled for spinal surgery on April 21st. My question is: Can I get this refilled on the 21st since this is a 15 day supply? Thank you.
Its not just insurance issue on when you can fill your Rx for that. 1st it depends on how Dr wrote Rx. If he wrote on Rx "do not fill before xx/xx/xx"...thats when it can be filled So if last rx was filled on 28th with enough to last 30 days (during 30 day month). next month have Rx on 25th. The pharmacist AT THERE DISCRETION can fill control Rx 3 days early (most insurance will cover 3 days early). BUT if DR wrote Rx on 25th but wrote on Rx DO NOT FILL BEFORE 27th- legally it can not be filled until 27th.
If you had them filled in February, which was only 28 days long, you should be able to refill them on the 25th, or 26th of March, according to the FDA. However, the best thing to do would be to check with your pharmacy.
What medications are you taking?
