I have a friend who takes suboxone & recently got a subutex given to him. I take suboxone myself but ive never heard of subutex until couple days ago. I would like to know how is subutex supposed to be taken? Under your tongue or do u swallow it? I am worried about my friend & i have searched every site possible on information on subutex but none of these sites say how it is suppose to be taken. what are the side effects of subutex? why do doctors give pregnant women subutex & not suboxone during pregnancy? i need to know any & all information on subutex. i have hidden the pill from my friend until i can try 2 find some information on it & he has been sick but i dont want anything bad to happen to him.also is subutex a small white round pill with number 8 on one side & an arrow on the other & does it come in any other forms or colors etc.? I'm desperate for answers!!!!!

Ive had prescriptions for both subutex and suboxone and ive shot both many times, recently stopped due to vein issues, but neither will put you in withdrawal when shoot unless you have a full agonist in your system still. buprenorphine has a waaaay higher binding affinity than naloxone. so the naloxone is basically there so the fda has a reason to look competent. everyone i know knows bupe beats of naloxone.

If you actually have an injury and use a pain management clinic and are on methadone you would no It does not get you high?? you might feel the numbness feeling in your head for a few days but that goes away for people that actually have a serious injury. how can you blame the DEA or FDA for making it hard to get some sorts of medication when you your self have been flagged because they can see past your lies and attempt to say you actually have any kind of real pain. people like you are the reason that all these bans are put on medications. whining about muscle spasms?? are you KIDDING me?? I have been on a pain pump for 14 years of my life from when I Broke my back my leg shattered and my head broke had 60 staples in my head can never walk again and you are here thinking you are so cool because the doctors had to give you a little more medication to put you under. get a life and stop blaming the DEA for trying to get people like you to stop abusing medication.

Subutex has no naloxone in it. It's safer for a pregnant woman, who take it for pain I believe. And in my opinion less harmful. But Doctors don't like giving it to rehab. patients because of the abuse possibility. It's also highly desirable on the street and easy to sell or trade. Naloxone is the blocker in Suboxone. It will keep you from feeling high on opiates, synthetic or natural.

Ask your Dr. to prescribe more. I know people that are prescribed 4, 8mg pills per day. So, more for you might be the answer to relieving your pain better.!.!.!

Sorry, but 54-411 & the ones with 8 & an arrow on the other side are IDENTICAL. They're both 8mg of Buprenorphine without the blocker. So, by saying 3 of the ones with 54-411 are 3 times stronger than the ones with 8 on one side are exactly the same...8mg Buprenorphine. Google it or call the "Drug & Poison Center" & you'll see that I'm right. You are just misinformed, or haven't done enough research. Sorry, no disrespect intended...Do a bit more research. You definitely want to know about this medicine. It is very powerful medication and should be taken properly.!.!.!

It's subutex.... And I've been taking it over a year. And gone from 16mg daily down to 1.6mg daily and then back up to 4.
We don't get suboxone in the UK. Just subby - Or buprenorphine whichever you'd like to call it.

Amen!!!! If it was that easy for that one person doging the way they were, then they were never a true addict. Because the disease is not easy to manage. And that's all we can ever do is manage it. There is no cure to date. It is for life, and the minute you forget that you will be sucked in even worse than before. Don't let anyone like that ever get to you. You are worth something, you are loved, and you know what, together is the best cure i can think of. I've learned when we are with eachotherin the good and the bad, through the mistakes, we can survive. Love all of you, and I'm not better than anyone, BUT ALWAYS REMEMBER, NOONE IS BETTER THAN YOU!!!!
