Please wouls someone be so kind to share with me how I should use my HC tablets to improve my adrenal issues. I have Hashimoto thyroid problemd. I am on Synthroid and also used a T3 Cytomel. I had to drop the T3 to first deal with my afrenal issues. I am inlind to be ver shaky so bsd that at times I csn hardly hold a cup. My cortisol levels are ver low. I started HC 2 months ago. Taken in divided dosrs as following. 7Am 7.5 mg. 11 Am 5 mg,1 Pm 5 mg, 4 Pm 5 mg and 2.5 mg at bed time. I find that I wake up st 5 am and start to feel sweatty and shaky. I take my Synthroid at 6 Am. At times find that I feel more shaky with tremors. My thyroid levels are still a bit low bu has increased since taking the 25 mg of HC but could it be that I need to take more or less. Am I doing something wrong that I am still shsky after 2 months of HC use.

@Zenuzek,

The truth is, only your doctor can legally advise you on how to specifically take a medication that he/she prescribed you.

However, concerning the shakiness and sweating you're describing - increased sweating (perspiration) is listed as a side effect of Hydrocortisone on the webpage for the US National Library of Medicine at:

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0044966/#DDIC603541.side_effects_section

Not only that, but there are also a number of other side effects on there they may be attributing to the shakiness (e.g. nervousness, irregular heartbeat, difficulty breathing while at rest, etc)...

To top it off, the Synthroid (Levothyroxine) that you're taking also lists unusual sweating, tremors, increase blood pressure, etc.. that may ALSO be contributing to your experience at:

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMHT0010926/?report=details#side_effects

If these side effects are too bothersome or persistent, it seems to me like it would be best to talk with your doctor about making adjustments to your dosage and/or frequency of use in order to help minimize these symptoms.
