How Do I Skip A Period On Lo Loestrin Fe? (Top voted first)
UpdatedI've been on Lo Loestrin Fe for 7 months now, I been getting my period twice a month and it's horrible. I hate periods, I only got on the pills because I have a history of bad cramps. Lo Loestrin Fe don't help me at all I have cramps before my period and my period last for a whole week. Please help my long distance boyfriend is coming to visit this Monday and I'm already cramping I'm having a feeling I'm about to be in my period. How do I stop it? I'm still on the blue pills I only take about 13 of them. What should I do to skip my period? I really hate the feeling of it. And also I don't want to switch my birth control pills I still want to give it time to get use to my system.

You're on lo loestrin FE so you take everything but the brown pills and get no period? You take the 24 blue pills and the 2 white or just the 24 blue before you go back to the blue?
Um... You're having a lot of problems because you are completely messing up how you're supposed to take birth control. Really, I read on the packet and general knowledge of periods -- or even a trip to a doctor -- would be helpful for you.
ANSWER: To skip periods on any birth control pill, you take all of the pills with hormones (because they regulate periods and prevent them) and then you skip the sugar pills/reminder pills/in this case iron pills and go onto the next pack.
ALSO, super important to take it at the same time each day to prevent everything messing up. Set an alarm on your phone for the time.
I'm on this pill, second month, and I simply skipped the iron pills, went onto the next pack, and take it each day at 5pm. No periods, no bleeding.
Hello, Rose! How are you?
If you've been on them for 7 months, your body should be used to them. That usually only takes about 3 months.
And why do you only take about 13 of the blue tablets? You should be taking all of them, before moving to the white and brown ones, then starting a new pack.
Normally, you'd skip a period by skipping the last tablets in the pack, but it seems that you've got something odd going on here.
Can you please post back and clarify? Thanks!
The FDA lists the typical side effects of oral contraceptives as possibly including nausea, dizziness, breakthrough bleeding, irritability, headache and PMS-like symptoms.
I want to intentionally skip my period for person reasons and I am on lo loestrin fe and I have already taken my two white pill but have not taken my two brown pills I started my period this morning is there any way to stop it ?
