How Can I Tell If My G3722 Xanax Bar Is Real Or Not (Page 4) (Top voted first)

My latest script for xanax has imprint g3722 and it seems to have no taste or effects. I've been taking them for a long time and to my surprise they seem to do nothing. Have you heard of this? It is a white xanax bar that seems to be a little thick.

Chech you're so right, these are people obviously buying them through other means, looking for euphoric effects. Who (that is prescribed a med) actually waits for it to feel "effects", you mean high people!!! A pharmacy can't just do that....I'm lmao right now at this crap.....People please, take as directed!!!

I take a generic medicine. My Dr told me, the generics aren't strictly regulated, which is why they're cheaper. They simply have to be close to the milligram stated. Either less, or more. The name brands are strictly regulated by Far,and must be the exact milligram stated. Not sure if that helps.

I've used Xanax for 10+ Yes, white, yellow, green and the one I just received the white G3722 with the line through the 7 have gave me the same exact results as any other and generics are no different than in price get a grip

Be informed before making up your own stuff dr. oz. Yes 2mg xanax can be the same 2mg of alprazolam in g3722. But also take note of all the illegal web-based pharmacies that send out thousands of counterfeit pills all the time just for more money. A lot of these counterfeit drugs like valium, alprazolam (xanax) etc come from countries such as india, china and mexico. Just be careful with what you ingest. If you want to be safe get a prescription for brand name xanax and that's it.

This is misinformed. FDA guidelines state that a generic must contain 83% of the chemical, I was a Xanax addict for awhile and I learned through experience I could take 7-8 3722 or 5 pfizer(ones that say Xanax) and both had same effects. Generics are cheaper for a reason why would you make a more expensive pill with same amount of drug and loose out on profits? Drug companies want money too mate

You/everyone builds up a tolerance especially to a narcotic like this. The longer you take them the less effective they will be and you'll have to take more to get the same result than you did 2 years ago

Yep, there are what the kids call "Hulks" here in Florida. They are Green generic canal tabs pressed by some butt faces. I've been on xanax for 15 years working my tolerance as high as I ever wanted it to be and down again. Two 2mg. "bars" a day with a "football" if I really need it. So 60 2mg's and 30 1mg's a day. But my roommate steals them. I have had 4 types of counterfeits thus far, and told my doc the situation and he just upped me back to 90 bars that I can break as long as I continued working my way back to a regular but still high dose of two 2mg a day as needed. Benzo withdrawal is awful and if bad can prove deadly. So here is what I encountered thus far. The "Hulks" pressed to look like the green generic xanax I've gotten a zillion times from the pharmacy, they have I'd guess 1.5 or less of alprazolam mixed with a scary amount of Fentanyl. Super scary. Fentanyl is the most powerful or dog gone near close to the most powerful opioid there is, and many people die from it if they are opiate newbies. The junkies I know love them, but they are pressed in another state and shipped down. They aren't around that much now as opposed to the last few months, and I'm glad. I have a lot of friends who will dissolve two bars under their tongue wait half an hour and then administer Hydromorphone or oxycodone or oxymorphone. If you do that with a pill or two that has alprazolam and fentanyl, you are going to overdose, probably die. You better hope someone is standing by with a Naloxone or Narcan shot, because short of that or maybe someone dissolving a Suboxone strip or three and taking that, you will probably die. If you can't get a script for legitimate xanax, you probably shouldn't be taking them. Especially if you are abusing them. Second counterfeits I saw were the ones these folks spoke about. They were a little thicker, chalky, and had maybe 0.25 mg's of alprazolam in them. Disgusting and useless, save your $4-5 and buy football's. I've seen counterfeit name brand ones that looked good but were all talc, and then a regular counterfeit of the green ones. These were ok size wise (the hulks are a little thicker) but they were a different shade of green, ROCK hard, and then when wet really chalky. My honest advice is to just tell your doc you have panic attacks, and have taken alprazolam before and it worked well. Start will 1mg's for a month or two and tell the doc that you have had to double up when the walls close in. Get your legal 2mg bars, pay the $25 for 60 of them at Walgreens and be safe. I don't have a preference between the football shaped alprazolam or the round ones. If they are from a real pharmacy then I'm ok with it. Just be safe.

As long as you get them from a pharmacy then they are real. If not there is no guarantee because they are counterfeiting every type of bar out there. Chances are, if it doesn't have that xanax taste then it's counterfeit.. ALL xanax have an unmistakable taste. If they don't have that taste they are bunk...

They just don't have equal amounts throughout the pill that's why yo take your whole dose because the end you're eating might be more of the filler and the other end my have more of the actual medicine in it

yes there are a million fakes just like them going around. Two thimgs ive noticed is that the fakes arent glosssy, and the indentation on both sides of the "7" isnt as deep. the odds are yours are good if they came from the pharmacy but it wouldnt suprise me to see some pharm tech switching them out.

Wrong... Generics are required by law to contain no less than 80% of the active ingredient Alprazolam per pill, and no more than 120%. That's a 20% leeway one way or the other. Brand name medications per pill must contain no less than 90% of the active ingredient and no more than 110%. That's a 10% leeway one way or the other. A 2mg generic Xanax can contain 1.61mg Alprazolam and still be legally sold and within FDA specs. This difference is to account for possible variations within a mix before pressing into pill form. But I believe generic manufacturers have much better control now and can consistently make 2mg pills that contain 1.65mg of the active ingredient so that's the actual amount of Alprazolam contained per pill.

I have gotten these g3722 from cvs never been fake I think these people are just to ashamed to admit they bought it off the streets. I'll admit before being prescribed it I bought on the street and the only way to make sure is to taste it that bitter taste is like no other so if it taste like that it's real if it doesn't give off a taste then it's fake also real g3722 are flatter and the g has a pointy top and bottom of the g

I wanted to add to my post about potency on generic drugs, This is from FDA:

Generic drugs are required to have the same active ingredient, strength, dosage form, and route of administration as the brand name product.Generic drugs do not need to contain the same inactive ingredients as the brand name product. The generic drug manufacturer must prove its drug is the same as (bioequivalent) the brand name drug. For example, after the patient takes the generic drug, the amount of drug in the bloodstream is measured.If the levels of the drug in the bloodstream are the same as the levels found when the brand name product is used, the generic drug will work the same. 'DAVID C' is completely wrong about the 20% thing...he is confused with pricing.
