How Can I Get Subutex Not Suboxone? (Page 15) (Top voted first)
UpdatedI don't know how to go about this as I am shaking and can barely focus, I need help! Please. I fear that my life is going to end from my abuse of opiates. I am currently taking 250 mgs of oxycontin per day. I have a loving fiance and a stepdaughter that I want to be here for. I sit here with cold sweats, and fear going out just because I may make the fearful turn to the meds. Any and all info on how to obtain Subutex would be much appreciated. This wasn't what I wanted my life to be, and I can not let it end this way..Please help me. I am not a religious man but I pray for help as I am at my wits end with this drug.
I'm suprised you haven't typed in on your computer"look for suboxone doctors".its that damn easy.I've been on program for awhile now and it can help you immediately.I'm currently switching doctors and that's easy too.by the way,any doctor prescribing suboxone can prescribe subutex.I had a doctor who wouldn't believe I had bad reactions with suboxone vs. subutex.he finally found out I was right by looking on the net.subutex at costco is 4times cheaper than the strips.do this right now.you will get help Monday,I can almost guarantee you.you waited too damn long.it also helps if you can get someone to help you set-up the appointment or just be there while you are.its good,a little emotional support,if you can get it.if not ,just read this post I'm sending you.relax take a couple of deep breaths-in-out - in out- in- out.......piece of cake. ***** Good Luck!!!!!
GOOFY: Yep. I have told several people on here to do that. Suboxone.com, and you just put in your zip code. TONS of doctors out there. Apparently though, some people on here are saying they are having a hard time getting Subutex vs. Suboxone. I never did. I already suffered from documented migraines and chronic nausea since before I had bupe, so it wasn't a problem. The whole week that I was on Suboxone, I felt like I was on the edge of hurling the entire time. But maybe it's a state thing, not being able to get Subutex anymore. It wasn't a problem in my state. I have not researched this since I am taking methadone tabs instead of bupe now. But yes, it is really just that easy.
We're plz... I live in ky and around here u gotta be preg to get them. I was told to get on here. I don't care to drive to another state... Helps,Z,!!!!$ the suboxone gives me uu
MISTY: Read what I told "CONCERNED" below. You are either going to have to go to the ER and get some sort of documentation that the Suboxone makes you sick, or you are going to have to go on Suboxone.com and call every doctor on there until you find one that will help you. Explain that you just plain cannot function on Suboxone because of the symptoms it gives you. Or you MAY have to drive to another state. Good luck.
THE ONLY WAY I HEAR U CAN GET THAT IS BY HAVING A NOTE FROM ANOTHER DR SAYING U R ELERGICK TO IT.
Ron, I highly doubt you are taking 750mg of methadone, there is not a place in the u.s that would give u that and most likely would kill you. I've never heard of anyone getting a daily dose of more than 200 mg and those are people who have been on it for years. Nobody will help you because you are not being truthful or you are very uninformed. To to a detox or rehab and be truthful
CHER: I am sorry to hear that Subutex/Suboxone did not work for you. It is nothing short of a miracle drug for many people, and is just so-so for others (like me). We are all different, but Suboxone does work for many people, and so does methadone. I am on tablet methadone, and have been able to lower my dose by 10 mgs so far, by decreasing very gradually. I would rather do it this way than to go through another cold turkey detox from my drug of choice. It is working for me and I am happy. Am planning on going down another 5 mgs. in about a week. With the help of Colo MMJ and the occasional Soma or Clonidine, I have been successful so far and have not had to "go back up" to my previous dose. Good luck to you.
You are not alone.. I have been a addict for almost 12 years.. Because when my son was born he broke my pelvic bone.. The doctor perscibed me oxy 30's 6 a day for almost 6 years. I was hooked the first week.. I didn't relise how bad it was and I did things to get that pill that I would never do today.. If you are not a addict you will not understand... I wish you the best of luck.. I was on Soboxene but found it was worse then what i was on for opiods..... So I am in the process of getting the vivital shot... good luck
Well damnit man lol...i hear of all these other states just handing subutex out to anyone but it's become so much more strict here in tennessee. I'm just looking for a doc that hep c is a legit reason to be prescribed subutex because as you said I am def having allergic reactions to that naloxone. I've had awful migrants growing up and anyone in my family could vouch that since a child I would get migrants to were the earth would be spinning and anything I ate or drink would come back up. I've had Kat scans but it's just a genetic thing that runs on my mother's side and trying to take naloxone isn't helping me at all in more than just one symptom. I know of individuals here in middle tenn that drive to the tip of Georgia and Kentucky just to get subutex and I also have a friend that is going to a doc I believe in east tenn near knox (where I'm originally from anyway) that says there is a doc that will prescribe tex to people with documents via doc that are hep c positive, but she won't freely give me the info to the doc because so many people have burned her that get jealous or upset that she can get them so she is very careful with her doc info as I guess I would be too. Just wish this wasn't such a headache trying to obtain (pun very intended). It's just driving me nutssss!
Yeah I can most def get migraine documentation. I've also been deaf in my right ear, well 80% deaf and so it gives me vertigo which also in turn gives me migraines.
There are doctors that are specifically licensed to prescribe subutex and/or suboxone (same basic ingredient - buprenorphine - which eliminates withdrawal symptoms.
Any doctor can take a one day course to be cleared to prescribe the stuff. And it's gotten easier over the past couple of years to get prescriptions since initially a doctor could only prescribe to 10 patients at a time. Last I heard it was raised to 100 patients...it might be more now (even possible it's unlimited).
Just use Google and do a search for a doctor that prescribes subutex or suboxone or buprenorphine (whichever gets the best search results for you).
It shouldn't be hard - I'm surprised to read that people find it difficult. Maybe it's a state by state thing...really don't know. I was getting it in Florida and I found a psychiatrist that prescribed it. I recently moved to Nevada - just in time since my insurance didn't cover the drug (in Florida) and the shrink was upping his charge (also not covered by my insurance) from $75 a visit to $175. I got to Nevada and needed to find a doctor. Took me a few seconds using Google to find an internist (family practice doctor) that my insurance pays for with a $10 co-pay. The insurance also covers the prescriptions which runs me $45 a month. (forgot the mention - the insurance DID cover the Rx in Florida, just not the doctor's visits). Before I had insurance, the Subutex was something like $150 for a months supply (8mg a day).
Best of luck - the stuff is truly a miracle drug and won't suck up all your money. I was paying $55 a pill for 80mg Oxycontin and that left me broke - the "bupe" literally saved my life.
What's the difference in Suboxone and subutex? Is one better than the other? I have choic pain and on Suboxone but with all the issues I'm having its really not helping with pain any longer and I do feel it gives me a headache. I heard of methadone and they say it helps better with actually pain I never was addicted to pills but once they worn off I was hurting again and worst so I told the drs I didn't want anymore perks or L10s. I am.veru new at this and want best to help my pain till I figure out what's going on!! Thanks
What Dr do u go to I live n Ohio and and detoxing need same day apt.
DANI: Whether you take Subutex or Suboxone, the result will be the same. Switching to Subutex from Suboxone isn't going to change anything. The only reason Naloxone is in the Suboxone is to keep people from injecting it. They both have a huge binding affinity for opioid receptors, and you can not "use" with Subutex any more than you can with Suboxone. They will BOTH throw you into Precipitated Withdrawals. Which is the third ring of HELL.
HOUSE: You do realize that the Naloxone being in Suboxone doesn't make much difference as far as being able to use, correct? It is the buprenorphine ITSELF that has the huge binding affinity for opioid receptors. The Naloxone is mainly in there to keep people from injecting bupe. Subutex will throw you into Precipitated Withdrawals just as quickly as Suboxone will. I know this from my own personal experience, along with two addiction specialists and my own research. People mistakenly think that you can still use with Subutex, but it is just not true. You have to be in a pretty good state of withdrawal in order to start up your Subutex again, just like with Suboxone. So when you say that Suboxone has the "opiate blocker" in there and Subutex does not.....well, that's not entirely true. Bupe ITSELF is a form of "opiate blocker".
If you're abusing Percocet then you are not absorbing more than 70% of the drug. Plus, abusing Tylenol is no Bueno. Better off taking them orally.
I'm looking for a Doctor located in or around Cincinnati, Ohio to take my daughter and her husband to so that they can be prescribed subutex for help with their drug addictions. I need a Doctor that accepts medicaid. They have Paramount and CareSource medicaid.
SUZEE: Search Suboxone.com and you can put your zip code in to find a Suboxone doctor in your area.
Hey Dani, thanks for getting back to me! Like I said, I was just curious as to what was going on there.thanks so much for clearing that up. .lol.I hope everything is going good for you and those you care about. Have a great day, HOUSE
DANI: The Naloxone in Suboxone is in there to keep people from taking it intravenously. Unless you are administering the Bupe intravenously, there really isn't a way to "abuse" Subutex. And if you are a genuine opioid addict, taking Subutex in this manner isn't going to cause euphoria anyway. The only people who are feeling high on Bupe are people who don't have a legit opioid habit.
Taking Subutex OR Suboxone too soon after taking full-agonist opioids will throw you into Precipitated Withdrawals. You have to wait until you are in withdrawal before starting the Bupe back up again, whether there is Naloxone in there or not. Doctors suddenly not wanting to give people Subutex is pretty ridiculous actually.
