How Can I Get Subutex Not Suboxone? (Page 11)
UpdatedI don't know how to go about this as I am shaking and can barely focus, I need help! Please. I fear that my life is going to end from my abuse of opiates. I am currently taking 250 mgs of oxycontin per day. I have a loving fiance and a stepdaughter that I want to be here for. I sit here with cold sweats, and fear going out just because I may make the fearful turn to the meds. Any and all info on how to obtain Subutex would be much appreciated. This wasn't what I wanted my life to be, and I can not let it end this way..Please help me. I am not a religious man but I pray for help as I am at my wits end with this drug.
Just wondering if you where able to quit the methadone program? Hopefully you have and your life is now worth living.
Omg people naloxine is not the blocker!!! Buprenorphine blocks the receptors in your brain. Please research this information.
Umm my husband definitely isn't pregnant and has been on subutex since a year after kicking Methadone cold turkey. He did good without a relapse for a year. When he did he started a doctor whom prescribed him subutex.
I'm in Alabama and the difference in price between the two are masive!!!! With our insurance my husband pays 4.90 my cost for Suboxen was under 5.00 dollars. Without insurance a 30 day supply of subutex is 350. A thirty day supply of suboxen is almost 675. So more doctors need to understand that just coming up with the money for your Doctor visit 150 to 270 is already a big chuck of your weekly pay. Then you have to figure a way to cover this medication. When in all reality they could help the patients with financial issue which can trigger an addict to relapse. People be seriously for real!!! People are assuming because people like my self whom personally prefer Subutex over Soboxen just have to be abusing it some how. I've had a doctor tell me not long ago that the reason doctors insist on prescribing Suboxen is because the pharmaceutical companies give them a kick back on each person the subscribe suboxen to.
no i am on 90mgs of methadone tablets. i get my methadone as a prescription from my physician, once a month. i am one of those people who just wasnt helped by bupe. i went all the way up to the ceiling dose of bupe, 32 mgs, and still wasnt feeling "right". methadone just works better for me. fortunately i dont have to deal with the snakepit that is is the modern-day methadone clinic. they are a business, and as such, are really only interested in keeping people buying their "product". my doctor has no such interests, and does what is best for me, not his wallet. my monthly doctors appointment is $30, and my methadone prescription is $15, so $45 total per month. i am going to stay on the 90mgs until after the first of the year, then i will start going down 5mgs every 6 weeks or so and see how i handle it. BUT...i do accept that i may need to be on at least SOME sort of ORT for the rest of my life. i am 46 and have been taking opiates since i was 16, so according to my doctors/therapist, i may "struggle" without at least a small dose of methadone. but i would like to make the attempt, or at least be on a lower dose than 90mgs. we'll see.
If u want to get off sub's eat tramodol/ultram it worked for me I ate tramado for a week and a half and was totally off them with no withdrawl gaurañteed tramadol is a non narcotic pain pill that actually feels like a prescription pain pill or subox
one
wow, you are just plain WRONG. trammadol is an opioid pain medication. please dont dispense such bad advice when you clearly have no idea what you are talking about.
What for methyl o oban in sublingual tab is used?
You want subutex because you want to have your cake and eat it to. I heard this f***ing story a million times. If you want to be sober u would take the suboxone. Am I right?
why do you think someone who "wants to be sober" would have to take suboxone over subutex? they both do the same thing. what on EARTH are you talking about? "have your cake and eat it too"? please explain yourself, and maybe do some research before making such bold statements that dont really make sense.
i am not familiar with the drug you named. can you see if its a different spelling or....?? they way you have it spelled, i cant find anything in my research or online with that spelling.
Don't ask for generics especially subutex they are not nearly as good as the name brand subutex.
Ultram is a very dangerous drug. It can cause Serotonin Syndrome, which easily can result in death. Many patients don't realize this because they don't know tramadol is an SSRI; they just know they feel better all over. To say that your advice is idiotic — medically dangerous — is a gross understatement. Combining tramadol with opiates/opioids or the latter combined with blockers such as Narcan isn't stupid, it's mindless!
I completely agree. I've seen it my my patients and those oftheResidents I supervise as well as at the Drug Tx Clinic the uses methadone and other step-down drugs. (I'm nt crazy about methadone maintenance, but I do have to supervise that "sub-sept" of our Department of Psychiatry,
I am dependent on opiates due to two horrible mva. I ace plates in my neck and pelvis, I tried suboxone but et terrible pain in my stomach and migraines. Can u give me advice for subutex
I totally agree with you and KKK. Those os antithetical to the purpose of Drug Treatment. I have a Methadone License, but I've only used it to sign off on orders written by residents in our Drug Tx and Ed Unit. I remember the happiest day my life "officially" knowing that I was no longer addicted. I developed respect for Rx or CS meds and I do have them prescribed for me only when absolutely needed. We can't write for CS for ourselves in NYS anyway. I see "cross addiction" manifest itself in attempts to feel high "without the clinician's knowing it." Unless as a young rodent, this bulls*** doesn't work on anyone who survives the first year, WE had plenty of "replacement" opiates/opioids before Subutex and a drug along won't stop the addiction process.
Maybe I neglected to state that Ultram (tramadol) is an opoidm but that's because, in my world we all know this. I should have mentioned it. "Ultram" doesn't sound like an opioi, as do Vicodin, hydrocodone, oxycodone, etc.
Ever heard an EXAMPLE? Bupe is an antagonist/agonist, I believe
I tryed calling that number and its disconnected
Me personally are on methadone 180daily .We were told be down 30 mg to be put on subutex I personallybelieve you about suboxone cause before ever on went on suboxone had same systems as you ever one different. .
