Oral surgery for gingivitis and bone Graf. Been on for ten days and have 3days left. Threw up this am while eating 6 hrs after taking pill. Not allowed to chew yet mostly liquid diet. What can I do to combat nausea.

Hello, Kim! How are you feeling?
Have you tried taking it with a little milk?
It does have a slight effect on the absorption of this antibiotic, but not enough that most medical scientists have considered it significant enough to carry a warning about telling people to stay away from dairy with this one.
You should check with your surgeon first to make sure that it's okay for you to take it that way, but milk can often coat the stomach and help prevent the nausea and irritation.
