I have reciently taken a large amount of xanax after abstaining for 4 months. like many I have a drug test coming up. my question is, are there any natural ways to flush it out so the test will be negative?

Just from my own expierence , I was using xanex daily and usually looking at a DT about every 3 months. the DT must be testing metabolites because i quit for 30 days and when I did the test it did come back positive for xanex. So depending on individual, it could stay in your system anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks. This is also a DT test that can distinguise the difference between benzos. Some places use the DT that just shows if you used any benzo or any opiate ect. just to see if your clean. Some inpaticular want to know the differences and the amounts.

It seems like you're having a little bit of a pitty party with a side of rage. One use, in anyone I know at the methadone clinic I go to and get lab screened drug tests on the regular have never had alprozalam stay in that long. The pills you took ...after your..."pistol whipping" was probably klonapin. They are known for staying in for around that long.

Lou is wrong. Xanax isnt water soluble. I think most benzos are that way. They are soluble in alcohol though.
Your only hope is to literally drink so much water you urinate mainly water. This is just masking it and if they send the test to a lab they will know (creatine level will be through the roof) and make you test again or kick you out of your sub/methadone clinic

XANAX is unlike any other drug in the way it is tested for. Pre-employment has a thresh hold for the amount in your system. However if you are being tested at a methadone clinic there is 0 thresh hold or tolerance for the amount in your system. 1 ppm means positive. So if you are in the clinic your screwed. The best thing to do is save up your clean urine and put it in the freezer and then warm up a small amount when the time comes around for a drug test. 2 weeks is the max XANAX will stay in your system unless you have problems with constipation,liver or circulatory system. The differing thresholds between employment and methadone clinics is the reason for the large disparity between passing and failing at various states of use and time.

I'm currently 96 days clean, and haven't looked back. I was taking 4mgs/nightly, for over three years before quitting cold turkey (not recommend)! What I ended up using to help ease the Benzos out of my system was hydration of Juices, and waters. Please load up on and vitamins, get lots of natural sunlight and do as much exercise as you can.. I was still hurting for A while, but I was able to get 3 years worth of Xanax out of my urine, within 6 days.

Whoever says 1 Xanax bar stays in your system for 6 weeks is an i****. I once took a bar on a Thursday and got drug tested Saturday morning and passed. All you need to do is drink plenty of water and use the middle part of your urination (not the start).
