Hi Wendy,
Is this a prescription that you just got filled? It is possible that you were accidentally given a bad batch of pills. To my knowledge, new pills shouldn't be crumbly or look unkept. If you're unsure in the slightest, I would take the pills back to your pharmacy and share your concerns with them.
I'm sure you aren't the only one that has had this happen. Please share your experience with the community if you find out what went wrong!
