How To Have A Methadone Clinic In Place When Moving New State Where Medicaid Has Be Applied For

I want to move from Maine to NH. I am on SSDI, and have medicaid in Maine, but I don't know if it is given automatically to people on disability in NH. Naturally, I want to have a clinic in place, BEFORE I move. I know you are supposed to be living there before you can apply, but I don't want to move there, and then find out I can't get Medicaid there! Anyone have experience in this subject? Thanks soooo much!

I have to be honest and admit that I am not familiar with how it works in NH, it's been many years since I've been there and, even then, it was only for a short visit.

But the idea I had would be to contact your current Medicaid caseworker and discuss it with them. They should be able to help you find the information you need.

If you don't have a regular caseworker, then try to social work department at your nearest public hospital. They should also be able to help you find the information you need.

Or just get automatic bank transfer of ur check n Ull receive it NO MATTER what. Cause they might take it away n start again. But ur right every state has different BS requests n might be less
