i have an abscess in my gums and i don't have medical insurance so i'm getting antibiotics from a friend they are called pentrexyl ampicilian i need to know how often to take them for the abscess. 1 a day? 1 every 6 hours? or what?

Ampicillin is an antibiotic that is used to treat various types of infections, it is normally taken ever 6 hours, so 4 times a day.
It should be taken on an empty stomach, either a half an hour before and 2 hours after eating.
It may cause side effects, such as: nausea, diarrhea, skin rash and dizziness.
