how long will 5mg valium stay in your system for urine drug screen?

No it can't!!! Unless your dying and your in kidney failure and your liver is shot maybe. I've been on pain medication for 30 years and it's normally out in 3 days, the longest I've experienced is 10 days and that was constantly using it. Normally 3 if your just taking one here or there.

I took my cat to the vet last Monday and was given 5mg valium half every 12hrs for 5 d's and phenobarbatal 16.2mg half every 12 hrs for the rest of his life all the pills were cut in half. I started giving him it on Wednesday and each time I put it in his mouth he spit out nite the pills were wet pin the second try and the third and they were devolving in my fingers every time twice a day for seven days. Nite on the seventh day I tested positive for barbiturates and I'm waiting for the lab results. Obviously my question is can u test positive by just handling these pills the way I explained

Hi I go to a pain clinic I take 20mg of methadone 4xs a day I had a u/a they found Valium in my system I explained it she said ok I know they want to do another one in 2 weeks I still take 5mg daily now down to 2.5mg will it be out of my system if I stop now

You are WRONG in saying that it's false information because I had taken a 5mg. Valium one time and it showed up on my urinalysis test 55 days after I took it.

its 23 days it states in pill facts its 5.5 x 100 hrs. therefore its 500 hrs. which equals 23 days. not 6 wks. and i give drug test monthly.

I'm prescribed oxycodone from my pm doctor. I ran out them on Saturday. So my mother gave me a few of her vailum . They 1mg and all together I've taken at least 3/4. I was going thru withdrawal so that's the only reason I took them. Well anyway I have to see my pm doctor next Wednesday . Does anyone knw how long will it stay in my system? Plz help me!!!

it only takes that long for someone that has been using it regularly. A one time usage will not show nearly that long..

Smitty, as I stated in my other post, Benzodiazepines can be detectable in urine for as long as 6 weeks, after taking them.

There is no precise time frame, since it will vary from person to person, depending on your metabolism, overall health, activity levels and many other factors.

It can vary from person to person, depending on how long you were taking it, how often, your individual metabolism and your overall health, but most Benzodiazepines can show up in urine test for as long as 6 weeks.

If you have a prescription for it, however, all you need to do is inform them of that, when you go in for testing.
