How long is Monsel's Solution good after it is made solid?

Hi Lisa,

I haven't been able to locate a sufficient amount of information on this topic, but I did find information stating that the solution itself can last a very long time; just nothing specific.

Instructions on the label note that it should be stored at room temperature. It also says to keep the cap tightly sealed and to protect the solution from light.

I'm assuming that following these instructions alone would help maintain maximum shelf life.

Does anyone else have information on this?
