I probably took 40 mg of percocet or more over the weekend. This Friday I'm suppose to go to meps which is a military processing center. They take blood and urine test for various things. How long would it take for it to flush or of the system?

If you sign a pain management contract then trust me they are checking your levels if they care about their medical license. You have an agreement to keep up as well as they do with the DEA and they have to report anything suspicious. You are allowed 1 maybe 2 "screw ups" and the first is usually allowed on your first appointment because a lot of people smoke pot....just saying....so they counsel you on that and warn you. Then some tests are messed up. but not too often. I have been under pain management for 14 years and I have seen A WHOLE LOT :)
The good doctors that care about the patients well being won't tolerate any BS. They one who are in it just to give out drugs and make the $$$$ all need to be in jail. A DOCTOR JUST LIKE THAT KILLED MY HUSBAND IN 2004.

The pain clinic if can tell if they test the levels. If you are coded green they typically will not check. If you have had any issues while on your pain contract then they most likely will. I have been on a pain management plan for 11 years and they have not tested my levels thus far!

i was on morphine when i was pregnant and my ob.gyn said it was completely safe, she said she had patients on perc.s, vic,s. fent., and even dilaudid for various reasons becaue i was so worried to be on it, but when the benefits outway the risk then it's fine. so don't you dare get on any mother's case until you know the facts. got it?

I took methadone during pregnacy and it was perscribed my daughter was just fine and yes she did go through withdrawls which really sucked seeing. But my first baby they gave me percocets you can take them only in the second trimester

Yes it will for sure show up. Make certain you can take one the day of also just to add a little more. You will have a positive blood test.

Depending on your metabolism it will show up anywhere from 1-3 hours. I have had to make certain my oxy's show up band have had a positive test every year.

I had to take Percocet when I was pregnant and it had no affect on the baby or the development. He is two now and smarter than any child I know his age his development is advance for his age so it didn't have any affect short term or long term.

I'm sorry I don't care who you are if you give a ----- about your unborn baby you will put on your big girl panties, suck it up and deal with the pain. If you caught a buzz the very first time you took percocet at maybe 120 lbs how do you think that baby at 6-8 lbs is going to feel when he/she takes it? Which is exactly what happens when you take ANYTHING when you are pregnant. I pray for that you babies are healthy. I also suffer from acctue and cronic pain pain and take Oxycodone, but as soon as I thought I might be pregnant I took no more. Wasn,t easy, actually really sucked. Just saying

If you can find suboxone. Take half of it one day and take the other the next. U may have to take a whole. I have been on pills for years. The withdrawls are hell! If you take a sub. You will never go through the hell. I took them for a week and been sober ever since. They give you some energy. They work. I promise! Aldeast try it. There cheaper too. Just take it in the morning. Wait overnight after taking a perc or whatever your taking. Or you will get very sick. Hope you find your through. Its worth it. I promise honey!

Just an FYI. After reading the post there is some false answers being given. Here is the breakdown: opiate based pills will be in the average persons system for 3-4 days after your last use. You can drink water, exercise etc..... and it MAY help however only by a day or so. If you are getting a hair test expect the past 6 months of use of any illicit substances to show, this includes pills. I've been in this business for quite a few years which calls for me to administer these test this is how I know. Also detox can now be traced by drug test so it is a waste of time, money and comfort.
