Im a rn nurse, alot of people doesn't know, a person can take there oxys, roxys, or any other meds, and getting ready for a drug test, if a person drinks milk, coffee with cream powered, these will deloute your meds, and show you haven't done anything, regardless of how many a person is supposed to take per day....if you want and need your urine test to be positive, please stay off the milk, and coffee with creamer....

I've been taken perks 5mg every two days like Monday then wensday now sat . If I drink water all day for two days will it show up like Tuesday morning ? And how long would I need to wait for it to be out of my system?

48 to 72 hours ... drink a lot of water to help flush your system. If this is the job of your dreams and you get it don't take anything that isn't given to you by a Dr legitimately as if the company tests to be hired they Will do random testing...Good Luck!

I believe the answer to the op is 1 hour that's what i've been told. Not sure if that's from eating (goesthrough stomach to liver to urine) or if iv (through blood to liver to urine)

ly difference is the amount of acetemetaphin(asprin) u will b takeing. double the perk double the acte.if u have a strong stomach u will b fine.if not eat or take med for nausea then take perks

Thanks mike for the information. Especially that u know first hand that oxycodone will show up on a 5-panel (I would rather have that first hand account rather than what some of the people's posts who guess or prob don't actually know) . Since I've been so sketched out, I'm still going cold turkey and I guess the withdrawals aren't too bad. Probably cause I don't really care how bad they are as long as I have some peace of mind. And as you say it takes 3 days to clear out of your system, I feel confident I will pass. Thanks again for the help Ill post to let u know how it goes.

Lucky you, it depends though, they may have only been looking for weed coke heroin, or they could have assumed you had a prescription though unlikely. Another possibility is that they mixed up you sample with someone else's though that is very unlikely also. They were probably only testing for marijuana or coke.

Thank you so much. You learn something new everyday-or try to. I had NO idea what the 5 panel was and now I'm shocked about the others. I have to take boatloads of pain medication.
I guess I must be doing alright thou, being as I've taken them for years-which I HATE! But all my tests must come back in the clear, because the docs have never said anything to me.
Anyway, thanks again for the info.

Assume 3 days could a quick as day or two, but assume 3. There are factor such a how often you use, your metabolism, and diet which affect everyone differently.

I think you mean negative, and we've already said it takes about an hour for opiates to get into your system. Most tests are designed to detect abuse rather than just use, so you could potentially take a low dose once and never come up positive.

Ok candy, tramadol does not show up on a ua. so no worries there.
Jess, cut off levels can vary, but I believe it is normally 100 ng/ml for oxycodone. I think it may be 300 ng/
ml for the preliminary and 100 ng/ml bgfor the confirmation test. Don't quote me on that but its something close to that. oxycodone is the narcotic pain killer in percocet and yes a test for it has to be done to check for it beyond the standard 5 panel test. Opiates such as morphine and heroin are what is tested for. Oxycodone is a semi synthetic opioid derived from thebaine and is chemically different from heroin thus needs a different test to check for its presence. Oxycodone has a half life of 4 to 6 hours so taking one our two lower dose pills can be out of your system in a day and a half to two days whereas higher dosages can take as long as 3 days to be cleared.

I am really sorry for your situation. The urine test will be fine but the hair follicle test will more than likely show any past use of meds.

I have been doing the positive UA for 10 years. Take 1 4 hours prior and then one 2 hours prior on empty stomach. You will be fine, never had a problem. Takes about 1-3 hours to metabolize which is why I suggest 2 separate doses.
