How Long Does Tramadol Stay In Your System (Page 12) (Top voted first)

I took 100 mg of Tramadol last Thursday and have to have a urine test at my pain doc next Thursday (2 weeks between dosage and test). I was wondering if anyone has been tested positive after that long?

my pain clinic DOES test for tramadol and I was busted by my doc for it. now I am on a watch list.

Tramadol had been classified as a narc as of Nov 2014 or 2013. I know because the pharmacy told me they have changed the classification of it and I had to show my ID to recieve my script at that time.

My husband took two tramamadol s on Monday night had has to see his pain management doctor tomorrow, he is a dialysis patient and can't pee. How will they drug test him? Will the new be out of his system or will they still detect it?

Pain doctors are now testing for ultram aka tramadol. It is considered a low class narcotic.

So he had 3 days to clean out his system right? Did he drink lots of water , take a laxative and sweat it out of his system ? I hope everything worked put fine!! Can you please share results? Thank you !

I have deeply researched tramadol and it is not an opiod narcotic. It is an analgesic that is in a class of its own. That being said, in recent years it has been upgraded to a controlled substance and doctors are very reluctant to prescribe it in conjunction with an opiod or other narcotic. I am one of the few people who is prescribed both but my pain management doctor does not like giving it to be because of the potential drug interaction. However, it contains properties of an SNRI which help me with depression as well as pain so I have convinced my doctor to allow me to continue taking it. If you are being drug tested by a pain management doctor, make no mistake - it WILL be included in the test. But for those asking, it should be out of your system in 48 hours unless you have been taking it long term. If so, it could show up 4 to 5 days after discontinuation.

Okay I drive and regulated by the DOT, was on vacation for a week took 200 mg for 6 days, stopped late Saturday, had a random drug test Thursday , after returing nothing was said , did the test for Tramodol? Don't know

yes indeed it is i just got tested on my 4th day and it showed up now wondering if it will after 8 days? good question it is a narc and it will show up .. i do get drug tested and he uses the good screens for my insurance money and yes it does show up as a narc... sorry guys but i do know from experience my hubby had it and i took it by accident and bam but he had me on lots of meds and he understood

To all of you out there, please dont take tramadol unless your pain doc gives it to you you or a valid prescriber!!! I had a urine drug test day 5 and tested dirty for tramadol at my pain management office. I have been warned!! The metabolites of the drug still showed up in my urine. Heck with 48 hers, this pain management office tested for the metabolites of tramadol!!! One more time and I will lose my doctor , it is not worth it . I should have been 8 days clean!!!

I ask that question 2 years ago you'll get many answers, this is my experience : since it was reclassified I used to take it everything but I have a job where I get drug tested so I stop taking it but I do take it on the weekends when I'm off I was on vacation in August and I took it everyday 200 milligrams for about 5 days in a row and when I went back to work I got drug tested around them and there was either they didn't test for it or didn't show up but stop taking it 5 days prior

I took Tramadol 25ml illegally yes for pain in my hand it worked I took no more how long will it take to get out my system

Yes. They do test for tramadol. I go to a pain clinic they do test. I wouldn't take anymore . I believe 2to 3 days but I'd give it give days just in case.

It sure is indeed a narcotic. Although my Dr prescribed it to me it was in my system as asrcitic drug when I went to pain management
