I tested positive for oxycodone/percocet 5 days after last dose...i took my last dose on a Thursday and tested on the following tuesday morn...POSITIVE... It was devastating. I now make sure I have 6 days before testing.I can take perc on wed and b clean tues morning. I do drink tons of water 48 hours before test just to b safe. (I make sure my pee is very diluted)

Wow you are actually quite wrong. The reason you go through withdrawals is because there is a lack of opiates activating your opioid receptors in your brain. When you use lots of opiates you brain creates additional receptor sites to handle the influx of opiates. When you stop using your own body can't produce enough opioids (like dopamine etc) to fill those receptor sites thus putting you j to withdrawl Withdrawl has nothing to do w fat cell storage. Do your research before you act like you know what your talking about. Stop misleading people

You do not piss out thc fyi. Most of it is gotten rid of through your bowels ie: pooping, so don't go calling others stupid if your answer is no better. So yes it does help to drink lots of water and coffee to make you pee more. :) If you are not a long term user the drug will leave your system faster than if you are a long term user,chemical make up and metabolism make it impossible to estimate exactly when it will leave your body. Opiates are processed by the liver and kidneys so it doesn't help to poop those away. ;)

You are totally right about a lot of things you said. It is very necessary that valid ID be used when drug testing. Know lots of people who have, or have tried to get someone else to take their required drug test.

Yes, oxycontin and oxycodone definitely DO show up differently on a test. I had a pain doc that prescribed both of those to me, and would test me weekly to make sure I was taking both of them.

I think you have a very good question, Why doesn't anyone ever post the results of their UA?
Are they feeling stupid, if they failed? Because I do have to wonder about the "smarts" of some people. Some people have a lot riding on passing that urine test. Like facing two or three years in jail if they fail it.
Also, if they did pass, others could benefit from the knowledge of what actually worked. So they do need to post it.

Ok so I see things about forgetting an ID to skip a urine test. This is from personal experience. A DR. Gives a paper to get a UA or blood. You must go take the test and you must show ID. If you don't have an ID you can't take a UA or blood test. As for probation or anything I do not know. I know from personal experience my Dr has the lab rite there and does a UA to see what is in my system before I get any prescriptions. I know from a family member the Dr gives a paper and says go down stairs take the UA come back up for the prescription. If they fail then next month no prescription. If anything you are not prescribed is in the UA no more prescriptions. This is all in the state of RI so different states and Drs might be different. I also know that now the Dr I see can see the difference between an oxycodone and a hydrocodone. A family member that sees a different Dr you take the UA and it comes up as an opiate and don't matter. So again depends the test place and the Dr. Maybe even the state. I do know for a fact from own experience and family members you need an ID for a UA or blood. Think if you didn't have ID then hey give me the slip and I can go pass for opiates and nothing else so you can get them and do whatever and take whatever. How does a place know who you are and what to look for without ID? So you send Johnny for you and he has any kind of disease and needs treatment now your getting treatment for HIV when you don't have it. The DR orders another test and all of a sudden you don't have HIV come on use your head that's why you need ID

I am prescribed hydrocodone 10/325 sometimes I take oyxcodone from a family member for extreme pain. I find the pain is sometimes help by one or the other. Then sometimes pain is helped by a half of each one. My dr did a UA always passed. This time the oyxcodone came up. So they are getting tough at some places on the UA. I just find it funny with MRI and tests that show you have injuries they make it hard now( depending on state). This is all coming out now when places like Florida have problems and celebrities die from this. When the truth is using heroin with the downers it stops your breathing. It's not just the pain med. Now in the state of Rhode Island the emergency room will send patients home with the overdose drug kit. They do that for patients that come in from overdosing. Funny isn't it concerned about OD yet ok check out time and here is a kit to stop it do all the drugs you want. Now they have the kit they don't OD and numbers are down to look good. What a joke
