I take Tramadol and i need to know if it will come up in my urine as an opiate in a drug test and how long will it stay in my system

Tramadol is not a typical opiate, so they have to be specifically looking for it to detect it, but if they are, it will be detectable for approximately 4 to 5 days after last dosing.

That information is incorrect. U r rite in saying that Ultram (Tramadol) isn't a narcotic per se... But there is no test available yet on the market or in the hospital to detect the presence of Tramadol in someone's system. Now Methadone or Suboxone do have to be SPECIFICALLY TESTED FOR in order to be detected... They are both opiates but neither will show up on a opiate panel drug screen. But back to the issue at hand, the only way to detect Tramadol (or the contents of what u ate in the past 24 hrs) is a Toxicology report. If u get one of those Tramadol being in ur system would be THE LEAST OF UR ISSUES CUZ YOU'D BE DEAD...

Tramadol is not a narcotic. So there for it should not show up in your urine it is just an extra extra strength asprin/ tylenol.
