How slow is the heart rate?
If one overdosed on a narcotic so severely that they required medical treatment, then there is a high likelihood that the slow heart rate they are experiencing 2 months afterwards is due to some permanent damage done to their heart. It is very common for such a thing to happen with overdoses.
