I took 1 20mg opana on Sunday,I have a urine test on Friday,how long does it stay in my system?

Opana (oxymorphone) has an average half-life of 7-9hrs and from what I've read, it can take as long as 3-4 days to be out of your system for a urine test, 24 hours for a blood test, 1-4 days for a saliva test, and up to 90 days for a hair follicle test.

So since you're taking a urine test, odds are that you should be fine for Friday's test. I really don't have any doubts what-so-ever that you'll pass it, being that you only took 1 pill.

All opiates work the same pretty much. Just different types names and mgs. But an opiate is an opiate. Most take three days at the least! But it also can depend on how often u use them. If u only did the one then yes three says tops but constantly or pretty often could risk it staying n ur system longer but u can never be too sure with the technology they have these days. That's why id recommend not doing anything when u knno u have a drug test coming that way u have nothing to be concerned about. But google opiates n u find out everything u would need to know.

i have been taking lotabs and opanas here and there for the past week! what are the chances i will have withdraws from these drugs. i mean it's been 24 hours since i took anything and i feel fine i guess just wanted to know if i would go threw all the bad withdraws later with taking the opanas cause they have a long life right? thanks for your time

Sierra: Opana has a very short half-life... It's the way the pill slowly releases the oxymorphone that makes it available in your system to your central nervous systems chemo-receptor sites. It depends what "here and there" means to you...not very specific! If you have only been using them for one week, then the lortabs will be no problem, but Opanas ingredient, oxymorphone, is very potent. So, you probably will have some withdrawal symptoms, but will probably be fairly mild. Good luck, and get off the crap permanently...the high you get now, will be less and less intense as time goes on and your tolerance increases. Before you know it, your hooked and not taking them to get high, but to keep from getting sick. It's a really vicious circle, and not worth the pleasure you now get..unfortunately, most people don't listen, or think they can handle it. They end up realizing it is a mistake after it is too late! Please don't be one of those people, quit now while you still have a good chance of not causing severe damage to your brains capability of producing the chemicals and neurotransmitters that currently let you get high. For every year you use, it can take two or more times that long for your brain to recover, once you stop using. Good luck to you!
BobbyESP: How did the drug test go? I'm guessig, not good... That was probably not enough time for your system to clear, as their are so many variables that can effect systemic elimination. David had really good data on the average elimination times, but they are just that...average. It can take much longer and also less time. Their are so many things that can impact the time though; such as diet-opiates bind readily to fat cells, exercise-did you store those fat cells or burn them off, metabolic rate, fluid intake and output, other medications interactions with the opiates and your body, etc, etc... I hope you were in the clear, but don't do that again...it's like playing craps with your future...get off the drugs... The same things I said to Sierra, apply to you to! I'm not judging you, as I have abused narcotics myself and know how good they can feel...real damn good! But I also know the down side to using, when the party is over.. and it is no fun at all... I did a half opana 20 on sun. An have to take a urine test they send off to the lab to test 9 days later do u think it will show up?

I know I'm addicted to pain meds. What can I do except live with the chronic pain I have endeared since 1976. I've been on all PAIN MEDS. I'm currently on oxycodone 10 mg. & I refuse to up the dosage in miligrams. I function well & the only thing I know is methodone or suboxin.....neither one for Mr as one has an opiate & blocker & the other is addictive as all hell too....I cannot tolerate without something to ease my pain.

I took half a 30 mg oxymorphone on Saturday night around 10 pm. I have a doctor appt on Monday at 9 am. Will I pass my urine test or should I take a bottle of clean urine with me just to be safe?
