How Long Before Percocet No Longer Helps With Pain
UpdatedHeard that brain can only produce so much dopamine before it runs out. I take 10 mgs of perc every day prescribed. Will it eventually not help pain anymore?

I'm not familiar with any research claiming a limited lifetime supply of dopamine, but I'd be interested in reading such if it's out there. Do you remember where you heard this or read it?
There is a limited amount your brain can process and deal with, at once, is that perhaps what you heard?
As to the Percocet, your body will eventually get used to anything that you take regularly for a long period of time and you'll end up finding that it no longer works as well. When this happens, the dosage usually needs adjusted or someone needs to switch medications.

How long have you been taking it?
