How Do You Get Rid Of Kidneystones

How do you get rid of kidney stones?? I am trying to treat this on my own ~ either herbal or natural. Does a juice or certain food break it up quicker to be able to pass it then?? Please help!! I need all I can get!!

Hi Pat,

Based on my research, Lemon Juice may be quite effective for those trying to pass kidney stones. I'm sure you could also substitute other citrus fruits for lemons as well. I've read that juicing grapefruits is really good for the body- and since it's a citrus fruit I imagine it could help a great deal!

Quoted below is some information I found on the lemon juice solution for passing kidney stones:

"Simply pick up 3 ounces of extra virgin olive oil and 3 ounces of lemon juice (freshly squeezed is ideal, although bottled will do). Combine the lemon juice and olive oil in glass and stir with a utensil. Drink mixture right before bed and repeat until stones pass. In addition to drinking the lemon juice/olive oil combination, it is also very helpful to be drinking at least 10 cups of water to help eliminate stones."
