My wife found a partially dissolved (cannot read anything on itl) pill in the bottom of our washing machine. It is the same shape as a hydrocodone although he does take acne medicine that is called bactrim. which is a much larger pill but it could have just dissolved alot in the washer. the shape is similar. I dont honestly think my son uses drugs but I wanted to be safe

Without any identifying markings, the only way to be sure would be to have it checked by a lab, which can be rather expensive.
However, most Bactrim tablets, and its generics, are shaped the same way, so it is most likely that he had a Bactrim tablet in his pocket, intending to take it, but forgot and it ended up in the washer.
The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.
Then again, the best thing to do might be to just ask him about it. If it's smaller than the Bactrim, it could have even been just a Tylenol/Acetaminophen tablet.
