How Can I Get Prescribed Subutex Instead Of Suboxone (Page 8) (Top voted first)

i get sick everytime i take my dose of suboxone. I throw up everytime. but my doctor will not switch me to the subutex even though it is in my charts that i have yaken the subutex and never got nausiated. what do i need to say or do to get my doctor to understand and switch me? i also have severe intestinal problems that get aggravated with the suboxone, what can i do. i do not want to quit treatment but i cant keep throwing up everyday all day. please someone help me.

That's true the subutex will block other opiates. I tried it as well and felt no effects from the oxys. Doctors needs to try subutex on ppl like me that has bad reactions to naloxone and does not have a history of drug abuse. I always take my pain pills orally. I just don't want to go back to pain pills because this suboxone makes me sick and I can't take it. Even lowering my my dose makes me sick.

I don't abuse drugs and never have. Don't even have a history of it. My only drug of choice was pain pills and I use to take them orally only! Don't get on here calling ppl junkies. Alot of ppl does get sick from the naloxone. Ppl can abuse suboxone films too! I've seen it done with my own eyes. They r ex friends now cause I don't talk or hang out with ppl that do drugs. I'm starting a new life and I'm a great person that wants to get better, not high! Subutex never and I mean never made me high. I just felt normal. It's not nice to judge. God don't like ugly. I'm busting my butt to get better and haven't taken pain pills since I've been on the suboxone program. Even tho I get headaches and sick daily I haven't touched nothing but the strips. My sub doc and my primary doctor both said the naloxone was not agreeing with me but my doc don't prescribe subutex. They can do drug panels and pills counts and check my body for needle marks and won't find any. Never touched a needle in my life. Yes some ppl wants subutex to abuse but their r ppl like me that don't want to abuse. Just wants to get better without getting sick. I'm serious about my recovery and really dedicated to it.

DOES ANYONE KNOW OD A DOCTOR THAT WILL PRESCRIBE SUBUTEX/ NOT SUBOXONE IN INDIANA?? I LIVE IN SOUTHEASTERN INDIANA ALREADY TRAVEL TO INDIANAPOLIS(CENTRAL IN). BUT ANYWHERE IN INDIANA OR NEAR SOUTHEASTERN IN (GREENSBURG, IN) WOULD BE SOO HELPFUL! THANK YOU

The Dr.s don't care here in Tn. just screwed. I been clean 6 years with 6 years of clean D test and was on subutex for pretty much the whole time until about a half year ago they made that law about Suboxone and had to get on suboxone. been sick the whole time, gained 50 pounds because I can't go out and do anything. I pretty much told the dr I'm gonna be dead soon. I'm gonna off myself and get back on Ds. all he could say was go to a pain clinic and get back on morphine and Oxymorphone, that's the stupidest thing I ever heard. ok I go back to what brought me here in the 1st place great circle of life. See I need pain management but there's nothing they will do for me. all I'm asking for is something with one less ingredient, but they rather me relapse than give me what they know helps me lol. That and methadone but they don't wanna give me either, just right back to the OPs ha. whatever just wasting away. holler.

You hv to tell them u r allergic to it that's how both of my nieces get it.One drives that North Carolina and gets it because she tells them she's allergic to soboxadone.

Ha it's not that easy in Tn you have to have a special test that they say your allergic or not, You have no say they know how you feel and how it affects you obviously, And my Dr. Joked at there was only like 2 people In all west Tn that was able to get the note from the test lol that's funny

I get sick from suboxone and bunavail. Plus the hot flashes and feelings of suicide.

everyone has started going to North Carolina to get subutex they dont care in that state i just need ti know the address and thats where I would go to get them ,Im not on anything now and I mean nothing but im going to go and see if I can get them to gv me subutex i dont know if ill beable to get it or not but if not i guess ill come out with a script for subodone which will b a bummer because i cant do suboxon i couldnt about 5 years ago, How do u get a dr to write that u r elergic to it can u just go n and say i took one and now im sick throwing up or WHAT.PLEASE REPLY

Read my comment a few down, I couldn't get an answer from either one of my doctors on how to get the test, My sub doctor even joked that there was only one person in all west Tn that he knew of that could get the papers saying he's allergic to naloxone, You gotta take some kind of skin test but I can't even get a name or recommendation to a specialist that does the test, I'm sure I could get online and call a hundred places and get talked to like a junkie like they do to me at the pharmacy and everywhere else trying to find where to get the test, but I don't got time for that. My former methadone clinic now a suboxone doctor should know where and who to get the test from but nope he don't SMH

I have been getting the worse Migraines being on Soboxene and Nausea ... I understand those are the side effects so what they are doing is taking me off and putting me on Vivtual which I hear is better in so many ways????

I too stay sick with the drugs out the that han the opiate blocker in it. I almost stroked out dry heaving. The Dr thought I was just in detox. He was right I was detoxing 24/7. I couldn't eat sleep or work. All that stomach bile with no buzz to proceed the hell!

Omg I didn't realize this... suboxone done the exact same thing to me! Something about artificial sweeteners makes my stomach hurt so bad. It causes muscle spasms and makes me super nauseous.. I had no idea why suboxone was doing the exact same thing, so now this makes way too much sense!

I went to doctor about 2 years he was always very rude and don't know what I did after about 1 year had to have stent put in didn't know about no program the nurse never said nothing until after I had stent put in then went in one day and doctor said he was going to piss me off I hadn't said a word then he just cut me off and told them give my money back no prescription to wean off now down to 1 pill been trying to wean down for long time before that day now don't know what to do
