I tested positive for methamphetamine and cocaine at a hospital when I was taken in by ambulance after an automobile accident. I do not use illegal drugs of any kind. At the time of the test I had a terrible cold and was taking Sudafed and NyQuil and using a Vicks Nasal Inhaler during the day. I take Oxycodone, Tylenol and Ibuprofen for pain and Claritin-D for allergies. I also take Prozac for depression. I also take Homeopathic drops by Energetix. How can I fight this?

Not being rude, but with that list of prescribed and OTC drugs you named, which some can b used to make things that r closely related to certain street drugs, it may b very hard to fight it....if it came up for those drugs in a hospital as positive then it goes to the next stage which they do anyway BC they have labs right there and that is to check why they showed a positive result by using a special method that checks for certain metabolites usually found in the drug or what is often used in those drugs as cutting agents to make it look like ur getting more of so n so when its really just something that looks similar so whoever makes a better profit etc..u get what I mean...the cough syrup n sudafed can cause a false positive for meth....if u take something such as wellbutrin (for depression n to quit smoking amongst other uses) can cause a false positive for amphetamines so mb prozac can? Idk...but once they confirm it is what it showed up as after they tested it for metabolites in the lab then u can't really fight it unless you pay for a new test immediately after getting the results if ur 100% sure its wrong. Or get a hair test which u cannot beat..especially if monitored in a hospital n in a bed all day....good luck..
