Hives After Using Methylprednisolone (Top voted first)
UpdatedI finished taking the methylprednisolone pack Saturday a poison ivy reaction and have had unbearable itchy skin around my neck and face. Is this a common withdrawal symptom?

Hello, Cristi! How are you?
No, if you developed hives, you may be having an allergic reaction to it and should consult your doctor.
The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, insomnia, acne and fluid retention.
Is there anything else I can help with?
No, that's it. Thanks so much for getting back to me.
