Highly Recommend Prepopik

Had my first colonoscopy and used Prepopik. It was wonderful! I really didn't want to do this and was not going to drink the gallon of horrible stuff that my husband had to drink. The Doctor recommended using Prepopik and it made it really easy. It took about an hour after the first dose to start working and it wasn't bad at all. I would highly recommend this product.

Someone help me I'm up drinking water after the prepopik and I just want it to b over when will the stools stop for the night
I just had a colonoscopy this morning. I was given Prepopik. It wasn't awful, but it didn't' clean me out good enough for the doctor to get a good look. I now have to repeat the procedure. I did exactly what the doctor said to do. I took the first dose at five in the evening followed by five - eight ounce glasses of water. I then got up at 3:50 a.m. to take the other dose, followed by three glasses of water. My colonoscopy was scheduled for nine in the morning. The day before....only liquids, mostly lemon jello. My husband also had the same procedure with Prepopik, and his report was only fair for visibility of the colon. Next time I will take whatever awful stuff will get the job done.
Hi Betty,
Glad to hear about your positive experience with Prepopik! It sounds like a real winner compared to a lot of the reviews I've seen on other bowel prep kits.
Do you happen to recall what the name of the product was that your husband had to take? It seems many people here on the site are raving about other similar options such as Suprep, but when it comes to these products I wouldn't know what to expect at all as far as taste is concerned Lol. Either way it's nice to be reassured that I wouldn't have to force myself to chug down something like Prepopik, so thanks for taking the time to share this info!
Please do post back if you have any updates on how you feel after your colonoscopy.
