There are many different drugs that can be used to help treat high blood pressure, however, only a doctor can help you decide if you really have this condition and should take a medication for it.

Has your doctor diagnosed you with it?

The dosages also vary, depending on the severity of your condition, this cannot be decided from one reading that you have posted on here. Your entire medical history must also be taken into account.

Some classes of the meds used to treat this are well tolerated by most people, while others are notorious for causing bad side effects.

Your doctor will also want to run diagnostics to check and see if any high readings are caused by other medical conditions.

However, when you use any of them, your condition must be closely monitored and they all carry the risk of causing serious side effects, so it is not safe to self-diagnose or self-treat with them.

Have you consulted a doctor?
