I have been taking Harvoni for 6 weeks now I'm beginning to experience dizziness, I also take amlodipine 10 mg but space Meds as directed 4 hours after I've taken the Harvoni I've had other issues such as Large B Cell Lyphoma cancer its in remission basically just quiet. I have cysts in my left kidney, but the doc said it was safe enough to take Harvoni just wanted to know if anyone experiencing the dizziness & headaches & leg & foot muscle spasms & cramping in my feet & my knees. I'm on week 6 of zepatier, I've never experienced the side effects that I'm experiencing now, most side effects I was told were minor, the first two weeks I was ok, the start of week three everything went to hell, I'm a full time student and part time employee. I have not been to work in two weeks, I've not been to school in about 3 weeks, I am extremely tired, depressed, anxious, hopeless, worthless and pretty much a mute. I speak to no one, I'm constantly in a fog, I get pounding headache's, I've lost about 30lbs, I have no appetite and a loss of interest in everyone and everything I was once interested in. I did 12 weeks of Harvoni and cleared the virus, finished treatment June 7th 2015. During treatment had some edema of feet and legs, it went away. Now 2 months later having edema of hands every morning upon waking. Anyone else reporting these symptoms ? Severe joint pain also. ## Hello, Kittykat! How are you feeling? I'm 64 yrs old, geno 3 hvc, I have emphasemia, fibroscan 7.1 (not too bad), viral load high. I'm considering tx, but worried about side effects as I don't feel too bad except for my age and shortness of breath. I've been told the older you are and level of viral load, plus how long you have been positive increases side effects. Is it worth doing when you are older and don't feel bad as of yet? ## It all depends, I think, on how well your liver is functioning. What stage are you with the HCV? Do you have cirrhosis? If so, how bad is the cirrhosis. I did the Harvoni at your age. I think maybe you should consider treatment. Liver disease is a horrible, drawn out ending.

Shortly after treatment with harvoni I noticed a clear mucous leaking from my but ## I also have had a clear slimy mucous leaking from my butt after a 12 week treatment with Harvoni It has changed to now having leakage of liquid stool and pooping out mucous strings with no BM I have been to several doctors with no answer but I am scheduled for tests of nerve damage in anal sphincter. ## From what I've read, diarrhea is reported to be one of the most common side effects of Harvoni (ledipasvir + sofosbuvir). However this is the first time I heard about 'clear mucous' being an issue. Can metoprolol and harvoni be taken together? I am on metoprolol and now I need to start harvoni. Should I be monitored? ## They can be taken together, if your doctor has instructed you to take them both, but yes, you should be monitored regularly by your doctor. I have been taking epclusa for two weeks. Last night my husband noticed brownish splotches on the mid-section of my back. The skin is not raised nor does it have any similarities to a rash. It looks more like large bruises. I'm not sure if this is from the meds or because I had a heating pad on my back the other evening. Has anyone else had this experience? ## Not all rashes are raised and/or itchy. My mother (age 50) has hepatitis B. She is on Baraclude (Entecavir). Recently she was diagnosed with high blood pressure and her doctor prescribed LN beta 2.5 mg. Is there risk of any side effects or drug interactions when this is taken with Baraclude? ## All medications carry the risk of causing side effects. Im halfway through a 12 week course and am exhausted for no reason.... I have only been sick twice from the drug but other than that a dull headache with sort of fogginess and extreme tiredness is really the only side effects for me... slightly upset in the stomach but I was before I started.... I was just reading that others felt tired too, well I hope it goes away soon... I thought I was just getting fat and lazy... hehe ## Everything you've listed can be normal side effects of this medication, according to the U.S. FDA. I can not pinpoint if this have anything to do with the fact that I was taking this sunroot capsules and i woke up one morning to discover that my face have a case of jaundice. Is this a side effect or it something else. Although after the incidence I had a blood test which proved inconclusive of hepatitis c. which am really worried. ## I would like to know what else these capsules contain besides artichoke? I am a 59 caucasian male. Have had Hep C for 30 years. Type 1a and 5-million viral load. Will begin triple therapy in two weeks (Incivek/Peg and RIBA). I went to the doctor yesterday and the urine test showed hydrocodone, but I haven't taken taken any hydrocodone. Can Harvoni have a false positive for hydrocodone in my drug test? And it isn't like for a job, I am 67 and retired. I went to my private doctor and since it showed up I'm just trying to find out for myself why it showed up?

I just finished my last harvoni pill on the 12 week treatment; how soon do I have to give blood to get the correct results? Took last pill on Thurs. 6/9/2016. ## They recheck your blood after 6 months to make sure it is not hiding somewhere in your body. My 6 month is 2 months away now :)

One pill a day, no side effects gone after 4 weeks. Insurance and a foundation paid for it all. Now I am working on healing my liver. I feel blessed. ## Alright Jane!!!! I am so happy for you! That's awesome!!! You didn't experience any side effects, at all? The FDA states that some people experience nausea, dizziness, headache and fatigue, even for awhile after finishing their course of treatment. It's amazing that you had no issues with it. ## No none at all. Some people without the disease that are my age have some of those symptoms and they are related to age. Wish you the best stay positive and take the pill the same time each day it helps.
