Hemorrhoids With Intermittent Bleeding

I have had intermittent bleeding for over 32 years. I’m a 58 year old man and have never had a colonoscopy: no colon cancer in family, but my parents had hemorrhoids, both parents. I think my hemorrhoids are at least grade 4 now. Can these bleed without any pain? I’m so scared of colon cancer because of OCD. Could someone give me some similar experiences and some reassurance. Just looking to chat about this.

I also have hemorrhoids that bleed intermittently. I just had a colonoscopy and the hemorrhoids are still there but I do think you should get a colonoscopy anyway.
