I WANT TO KNOW IF IT IS TOO LATE FOR TRUMP TO CHANGE THE STATUS QUO. I'VE BEEN READING HIS TRASH AND HE WANTS TO PASS LEGISLATION THAT WILL MAKE IT HARDER TO BE PRESCRIBE OPIATES. I WILL TRY TO FIND THE ARTICLE AND PUT IT IN A LINK. HE WANTS TO STOP OR REDUCE OD'S WHICH I DON'T THINK WILL HAPPEN.

I just read my email box from a few days ago...It says CDC director Robert Redfield m.d. for the first time suggested that his agency may be preparing to make changes to its controversial opioid prescribing guideline. It says CDC is working diligently to evaluate the impact of the guideline and clarify its recommendations to help reduce unintended harms...as a result many chronic pain patients have been denied or forcibly tapered off opioid medications and become disabled or bedridden and some have turned to alcohol and illegal pain relief. The situation has become so dire, the food and drug administration issued an unusual warning this week cautioning doctors not to abruptly discontinue or rapid taper patients....and blah, blah, blah...a lot more...so it seems someone out there is actually starting to notice a big problem or are trying to cover their ass for possible lawsuits....which to me is a bit late as too much damage has happened...I'd love to be a fly on the wall for this one..lol.

Re: Bella (# 137) Expand Referenced Message

Kudos bella,..amen..I get to upset when ever I hear anyone say addiction is a choice, someone made the Choice to put that pill or drink or whatever into the body...all it takes is possibly getting hurt then getting prescribed..the people who say anything negative about addiction or blame,...they just have no clue, but have no knowledge..if they have no knowledge? Then keep your mouth shut..I think if people who are here posting on a page like this should have some kind of knowledge...but apparently NOT.. I'm sorry for your loss, it hits close to home...

Re: Charlene (# 140) Expand Referenced Message

Thank you. Finally someone who gets it. I sometimes think some people who come on here are not as sick to take pain meds but do so out of being addicted themselves. But they will never admit it. As for those who need pain meds to end their suffering from diagnosed illnesses and broken limbs my heart bleeds for you. I have multiple diagnoses and not young, but if I were young I’d never touch drugs ever. Unfortunately most of us get something after 50-60 or before that leads to awful diagnoses and chronic pain. Before you call an addict the J word, look on the mirror and/or educate yourself because if you haven’t lived it... looked at it... saw the suffering from the addict and the relative with no help available, shut it. Just so others understand, more dentists give out pain meds than any doctor combined... and to young kids, but that’s not my business. Somehow, somewhere Charlene you have been close to this and if you had a loss, I too am sorry.

Re: Bella (# 139) Expand Referenced Message

Here you go Bella, Don't blame Trump for the Electric Chair. He still has no clue about street drugs and prescribed drugs for chronic pain patients. If the link doesn't have one click to activate it, then copy and paste it into your address box. One thing I can say is that if it weren't Trump it would probably be some other president or someone else meddling with the opiates.

Imagine a chronic pain patient caught with pills for their REAL ailments. I guess the chair would get rid of a lot of pain!!! In fact, ALL OF THEIR PAIN!

Re: methadonehater (# 146) Expand Referenced Message

I agree 100% what is it you don’t understand? It’s not the state it’s the AMA having conferences with the doctors everywhere trying to cut down. I don’t think it fair but unfortunately this is how it is... and btw did you know pain meds actually cause more pain hence the business of Big Pharma. Not Trumps fault he’s trying to stop the drugs from coming over killing our kids. Build the wall!

I have a government comment page that I vented on and if I can show you guys how to get to the comment page so if everyone sent a very nice little chat (ha) we could fill them up with nice little comments about how they treat us. I will try to work out something to how you all can get to the web page and get back to you.

I agree with you on everything! Even the part that it's not the governments business to be or get involved in the pharmaceutical business. I pray that God intervenes with this !

Re: Liberty (# 3) Expand Referenced Message
Tried to sign the petition but, unfortunately, such petition showed "closed". Endorsing this petition is really important to me. Any suggestions? Is there a way to reopen the original petition so that I may sign and share it, or should a new one be started?

Hello all, I just wanted to see if anyone had any problems with my directions on how to post on the government comment site. Just want to know if my instructions are correct. So if anyone has tried it, please let me know if you are able to get through or I may need to make changes. Please do it ASAP because they will be closing it soon.

What to do (# 189) --

Kratom tastes badly, the only way I can take it is to capsule them myself, or you can order these edible discs from Amazon also, the only other thing I can take it and it's a last resort is to toss'nwash... if you buy the capsule order them in size 00, they are larger and you can make them pretty fat, that way you don't have to take so many... and I know a few very reputable vendors who will always help you buy the best. For me I take only greens, maybe red kratom once in a while, like if I need it close to bedtime.
