Help Please I Need To Find A Very Liberal Doctor Who Will Write Pain Meds Live In The Simi Valley Los Angeles Area

Am Female Around 60ish And Have been diagnosed with MS. I have had Fibro since 1989. I am so tired of being in pain, I told my current Doctor that the number of Vicodin ES she gives me each month leaves me without pain meds the last week of each month. She immediately cut my meds to ONE REGULAR VICODIN A DAY!!!!! She is now convinced I am drug seeking I am mortified -- I am left speechless and in pain. She told me to "deal" with it...this is a County Doctor....help anyone out there please post your info if you have some --- thank you so much,, Sandy

i need a good doctor in simi valley to take over my back pain meds..my doctor says he is being investigated (bs) and can no longer prescribe my medication..i have never abused them and am on fed disability...please help

I live in Moorpark and have 5 herniated disks and am on SSID. I have been going to the county clinic but they won't prescribe anything stronger then ibuprofen. I'm thinking about finding a Dr. that will prescribe methadone and be done with the county clinics.

I am in desperate need of a doctor who will prescribe something stronger than Norco 10/325. I have 3 torn discs in my lumbar spine and severe nerve damage from an 18 year old work comp injury. The insurance refuses me surgery and wants to take away the medication I currently have! I have all the doctors notes on my injury, so I am looking for a pain mgmt doctor to prescribe me either Oxycodone or Percocet. I am in so much pain I just want to die. Will this clinic offer such meds? I have medi-cal for my own insurance, or I will pay out of pocket. Im desperate for relief! I also suffer from Dysethesia which is severe nerve pain. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Dear Sandy,

It's barbaric to deny somebody with M.S. pain management. My heart goes out to you. Even the A.M.A. said that pain should be treated as a primary illness. Due to the hysteria over an increase in deaths from opioid abuse, we are cutting off the most vulnerable people in our country from pain control. It's like trying to kill a fly with a sledgehammer. Yes, opioid abuse is a serious problem but use some intelligence to solve it! Instead, we have turned physicians into police agents. Reading stories like yours is infuriating. I saw a dear friend suffer from M.S. pain when I was a kid. Our country is going backward. Our nation keeps going from one hysterical crises to another. It sure is a good way to distract the public from crooked, incompetent politicians. The new one is threatening clowns! The only threatening clowns are our political representatives. When will we wake up and demand that regulators and politicians get out of our private affairs?

I just read your post. I too am in need of a Dr. who is liberal on pain meds. I have arthritis in my knee and the meds make a world of difference. My current Dr. is very conservative.
