Help PLEASE.. Can't find Pharmacy near Cape Coral/Fort Myers area that has Oxycofone 15mg or Morphine SulfateER IN STOCK...! I've been on these (and others) for over 12yrs.. EVERY Pharmacy I've been to says these meds are on back-order.. Can anyone tell me if they know of a Pharmacy around here that has 1 or both of these meds in stock..?? I can not function without... ??

Contact your nearest Sams club. You do NOT need a membership to use their pharmacy...I had MANY issues in GA getting the correct quantity..Sams club would order for me OR call local pharmacies to see if they have whole RX in stock. Only a pharmacy can get information on quantity/availability of pain meds in GA..When I call, they cannot disclose anything,HIPPA

Have you ever considered a methadone program it may not be the greatest option but it sure does work for many different issues

Try the one at 16th and Del Prado. I take 60 mgs of morphine twice a day . it is always in stock. Hope this helps

My ace number one suggestion for folks going from pharmacy to pharmacy only to be told "not in stock" or whatever the case may be is to go back to the Dr's office. Physically back to the office and be patient and respectful and explain to the receptionist or secretary the situation and could they PLEASE help you find a pharmacy with the drug/amount needed. I've been in this situation and I've NEVER been told by the office staff "no, we won't help you". The pharmacy is much more inclined to tell the nurse or whoever at Dr. Knownothing's office whether they have it and will fill it etc....once they find a pharmacy, go there immediately, get your meds and calm down. Try going through your insurance mail order pharmacy. Call ahead to see if they have them in stock. Since most mail order companies are also drug manufacturers they will most likely have it. You or your doctor has to mail them the original prescription order. Even your doctor can no longer fax or call it in. That is the new rule for all narcotic meds. If you call a local pharmacy they will probably tell you they are out because they don't want people "casing" their inventory. Lot's of robberies for narcotics.
