Help I Need A Dr

I Live in Toledo greenup area. We just moved her I have RA and Disc degenerative disease. I am starting to cripple in my hands. I can't even open a can with an opener and wrapping presents with scissors was almost impossible. I cry almost daily because of the pain. I am also in a bad place with the death of my husband last yr and have bad panic episodes. I had a dr but when i moved I had to switch. I know what works for me and it's a vary of diff pills two of which are Vicodin and xanax. But seems like around here dr don't listen and look at me like an addict. I need help to find a dr who doesn't see everyone as a drug seeker.

Unfortunately, if you go in asking for specific medications, most doctors are going to view you as being a drug seeker. You need to set up an appointment with a new doctor, make sure they receive a copy of your most recent medical records and then discuss your treatment options at the appointment, letting your medical records speak for you.

The FDA lists both of these medications as carrying the risk of being habit forming and they may cause possible side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation and irritability.

The easiest thing to do might be to find a new PCP and then have them refer you to someone.

Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area?
