Hi Bruce,

To answer your question, Penicillin and Amoxicllin are both related, so if I stand correct the risk of having an allergic reaction IS still possible. However, because not all allergens cross over, there are rare cases where someone may take one or the other without experiencing the same allergy. Is it worth taking a chance though? Probably not, in my opinion.

I'd encourage you to talk with your doctor and see if he/she can offer you something different altogether.
