Hello people. I'm seeing classic Body Dydmorphic Disorder (BDD) in which those of you in these instant cases have described. That being a disturbance of "not being tall enough". Sadly there are no pills that are indicated for growing taller. I might suggest amino acid supplements but these won't make anybody taller. There are elongation stretches that improve posture to where someone may stand up straighter and feel better about their body image. Proper hydration tends to bring about more joint space in the spine thus gaining possibly one inch. I read thru these complaints and at least some diagnostic criteria is met to entertain a diagnosis of BDD. The emotional component of such a disorder is usually treated by milieu therapy, a psychiatrist may prescribe an antidepressant according to their assessment for suicide risk or simple emotional comfort. It is important that as a patient you learn to accept yourself at the height you currently are. I am a former clinical psychologist and member of a forensic psychology team.
