A dry cough is a possible side effect of most blood pressure medications, according to the NIH. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, and increased urination.
In most cases, the dry cough doesn't go away and someone must try alternative medications. Have you discussed doing so with your doctor?
Is this the only medication you are currently taking?
