Heart Palpitations On Clonidine And Norvace

Are heart palpitations a common side effect of taking Clonidine with Norvace for controlling blood pressure when Atenolol is suddenly stopped?

Yes, palpitations can be a normal side effect of these medications, according to FDA reports, it can also be a withdrawal effect from stopping the Atenolol. You may also experience headache, dizziness, nausea, and increased urination.
